Mint Masala

Dal Makhni is out of this world. Food isn't greasy, comes in hefty portions, and came 30 minutes after I ordered. The garlic nan is like the size of a small child. The delivery guy was really sweet too and double checked to see that I had everything in my bag before giving it to me. This is my new Indian place!

As an Indian person I am picky about my Indian food, however Mint Masala continues to be my go-to. Solid Indian food with different spice levels you can choose and while the delivery time is long, my food has always come hot! Recommend this place to anyone wanting an Indian food fix!

The food was delicious. It was ready for pickup when I got there, about halfway through the "your food will be ready from X to Y" 10-minute period.

Got the chicken tikka masala and it was delicious! It came on time and the portions were good for the price. Im definitely ordering here again!

Chicken Biryani is awesome and an ample portion which makes up for price - I was able to break it up in 2-3 different meals!

I'll start with the fact I've never before written any review on seamless (or elsewhere that I recall). I had a Chicken Tikka Masala craving (I know...typical American ordering Indian..) With so many lame preparations of this dish, I always hesitate to try a new place. Mirch Masala delivered: it is the BOMB! So good. I'm not ordering elsewhere for the West Village from now on. I got the basics...Garlic Nan and Chicken Tikka Masala. The meat was all white and tender (def not cooked yesterday) and the masala was perfectly kicked up with some legit spice (hot but not inedible or one-dimensional) and the yogurt body was perfect--not thin and liquid-y and not gelatinous. Though rice is hard to mess up, it was also perfect--not dried out: fresh and generous. The garlic nan was also well done, albeit simple. Delivery was super quick on a Friday night at 7:30pm. Best part about this place--nah....order it and see for yourself! Simple, easy and the right choice. Do it! And do something kind afterward. It's just that kind of inspiring food.

Before I write anything else I just want to say WOW, THAT MEAL WAS DELICIOUS. I tried Mirch Masala because it had received only a few but very excellent reviews, but still I was skeptical. MM is worthy of the 5 stars rated it has. I just want to say too I have never written a Seamless review before but this meal was worthy. Although it took a while to get here, there was a little glitch with my order, the gentleman on the phone couldn't have been lovelier. The chicken tikka masala, the shrimp curry, the veges in the sweet and sour sauce, the naan were all delicious and fresh. Best best Indian in the hood. SO glad to have discovered it.

I love this place! Having been born in the north of England, indian food was pretty much a weekly staple. It's been difficult finding anything close here in NYC, until I found this place. Mirch Masala nails it! The flavors are authentic, naan bread really good. The smokiness of the chicken zafrani is beyond. This is without doubt my absolute favorite Indian for take out.

I'm very happy to have found this place. The food is excellent (though we've only tried the dal tadka and the classic chicken curry). While I wouldn't call myself an Indian food expert, I have lived in the UK where the Indian food is superior to the US, and travelled through India. This is the closest to what I had in India is all I have to say.

Came right on time, food was still warm. Delivery man was very polite and nice. The food was pretty delicious, ordered mild because friends can't handle the spice and none of it was too spicy, loved the Dal Ghosth especially. Very generous with rice, each item comes with a full container! Will definitely order from here again.
